Cookham Village Design Statement VDS
Cookham Village Design Statement (VDS) describes the character and setting of Cookham's three settlements. It provides local guidance to assist those seeking to make changes to their property or land to understand if the proposed change would be sympathetic to the area's character.
The VDS was prepared by a working group of residents with the sponsorship of Cookham Parish Council and the Cookham Society. The Borough Council provided technical assistance and advice.
The Borough Council resolved to adopt the VDS as a supplementary planning document on 23 May 2013.
