Environment and Climate Strategy 2026-2035

Delegated to: Executive Director of Place Services in consultation with Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Biodiversity.

Decision: To approve the Climate Actions Plans.

Crisis Resilience Fund (CRF)

Delegated to: Executive Director of Adults, Health and Communities and the Executive Director of Resources in consultation with the Cabinet Member of Adult Services, Planning and Governance and the Cabinet Member of Finance.

Decision: To keep the policy under review and amend it as appropriate during the delivery of the CRF.

Update: An Officer Decision Notice has been published Decision - Crisis and Resilience Interim scheme.

Maidenhead United Football Club – public open space consultation 

i) Delegated to: Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Adult Services, Planning and Governance.

Decision: To finalise a 999-year lease and associated documents for the land based on the draft Heads of Terms and Concept Masterplan appended to the report. 

Update: This is currently with the relevant Executive Director.

ii) Delegated to: Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Adult Services, Planning and Governance.

Decision: To appropriate any land included within the Open Space Notice, but which does not ultimately comprise part of the lease demise, for the previous purpose of public open space, where necessary. 

Update: This is currently with the relevant Executive Director.

iii) Delegated to: Executive Director of Resources and Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Corporate Services, Transformation and Asset Management.

Decision: Subject to finalisation of the lease in (ii), and to discuss and agree an extension to the Maidenhead Rugby Club lease at Braywick Park.

iv) Delegated to: Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Biodiversity and Natural England.

Decision: To provide for the expansion of the Braywick Nature Reserve.

Housing Authority Enforcement Policy 

Delegated to: Assistant Director for Housing and Public Protection.

Decision: To review and amend the policy in response to legislative changes, case law and good practice.

Update: This is currently with the relevant Executive Director.

Catapult Public Space Protection Order (PSPO)

Delegated to: Assistant Director of Housing and Public Protection.

Decision: Operational introduction.

Update: This is currently with the relevant Executive Director.

Parking Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)

Delegated to: Assistant Director of Planning, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Adult Services, Planning and Governance and the Cabinet Member for Highways, Customer Services, Libraries and IT.

Decision: Minor changes to be made to the Parking Supplementary Planning Document, prior to publication.

Sale of Freehold interest in Stafferton Way Retail Park 

Delegated to: Executive Director of Place Services in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Asset Management, Corporate Services and Transformation.

Decision: Negotiate the contract to sell the Freehold.
