Datchet Neighbourhood Plan

The Datchet Neighbourhood Plan has been prepared by the local community through the Datchet Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group. The Plan establishes a vision for the future of the Parish and sets out how that vision will be realised through planning and controlling land use and development change over the Plan period of 2022-2033. The Datchet Neighbourhood Plan  was formally adopted but the Borough Council on Tuesday 27 June 2023. 

The Datchet Neighbourhood Plan successfully passed the public Referendum with an overwhelming majority of 88%. The Neighbourhood Plan will now form part of the Borough Council’s Development Plan and will be used when determining planning applications.

The Datchet Neighbourhood Plan 2022-2033 was submitted to the Council on Monday 18 July 2022. Following an independent examination, Cabinet Members met on Thursday 23 February 2023 and agreed to accept the examiner’s proposed modifications, issue a Decision Statement, and progress the plan to referendum.
