Approved Stakeholder Masterplan Documents (SMDs)

The stakeholder master planning process formalises good practice in relation to pre-application discussions with the council, stakeholders, and the local community, by requiring developers of larger sites to engage at an early stage in the development process.

Land east of Woodlands Park Avenue

This is a site allocation in the adopted Borough Local Plan for:

  • approximately 300 residential units
  • strategic public open space
  • sports pitches

The site is 16.69 ha. 

On Thursday 26 January 2023, Cabinet approved the Land east of Woodlands Park Avenue Stakeholder Masterplan Document (SMD) as an important material consideration for Development Management purposes.
