Commons Act 2006 Section 15(1): Notice of non-statutory Public Inquiry regarding an application for the registration of land as a Town or Village Green Land at Coombe Lane Sunninghill Ascot [TVG 103]
Notice is hereby given that an Inspector has been appointed by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead acting as the Registration Authority to convene an Inquiry and prepare a report and recommendation to be considered by the Registration Authority in relation to an application for the registration of Land at Coombe Lane, Sunninghill, Ascot as a Town or Village Green.
The Inspector will convene the Inquiry at the RBWM Council Chamber, Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 1RF from 10am - 4pm on Wednesday 28 February – Friday 1 March 2024 and then continue as necessary from Monday 4 March – Friday 8 March 2024.
The application including a plan of the land proposed for registration can be viewed as a pdf or with associated documents by prior appointment at the Town Hall, St. Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 1RF between the hours of 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays).

To every reputed owner, lessee, tenant or occupier of any part of the land described below, and to all others whom it may concern.
Application has been made to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead of Town Hall, St. Ives Road, Maidenhead SL6 1RF by the Clerk to the Sunninghill and Ascot Parish Council of The Courtyard (Ascot Racecourse), High Street, Ascot Berkshire SL5 7JF under section 15(1) of the Commons Act 2006 and in accordance with the Commons (Registration of Town or Village Greens) (Interim Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2007.
The application seeks the inclusion in the register of town and village greens of the land described in the Schedule below which is claimed to have qualified for registration as a town or village green on Wednesday 21 April 2021 by virtue of the use of the land by a significant number of the inhabitants of the Parish of Sunninghill and Ascot who have indulged as of right in lawful sports and pastimes on the land for a period of 20 years.

Any person wishing to object to the registration of the land as a town or village green should send a statement of the facts on which the objection is based to the Legal Services Department, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Town Hall, St. Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 1RF or by email to legalservices@rbwm.gov.uk on or before Friday 9 September 2022.
