Decorative imageWhether you are a charity looking for a networking event, a business looking to make contacts, or a family wanting to host a celebration, we have plenty of room hire options available. We offer a range of drinks reception packages which can be tailored to suit the size of your party and your budget.  

All of our bookings gain exclusive hire of the magnificent Council Chamber which can accommodate up to 100 guests and the Corn Exchange Terrace at the front of the Guildhall. Sheltered by the elegant colonnade and overlooking the town, it provides the perfect space for guests to sip champagne and for group photographs, whatever the weather. 

Drinks receptions are not currently permitted under the current COVID-19 regulations, but we are accepting bookings for April 2021 onwards.

Accessibility: The function rooms are on the first floor. A Stannah chair is available for guests with reduced mobility. We can only allow six Stannah chair users access to the first floor at any one time.
