Please provide documentation to detail the Council's strategy, policy or policies and implementation plans to encourage residents and businesses within the Borough to Reduce waste by encouraging Re-use of items, Repair of items and "appropriate" Recycling of items.
In this context, "appropriate" means items that are mixed waste (plastic, metal and electrics/electronics) being separated into components that are appropriate for re-use or single stream recycling.
I have looked at the Council website. Whilst it is very helpful for citizens to deal with immediate issues regarding waste and recycling, I cannot see any documentation that details how the Council sets strategies for waste and recycling, what plans are in place to achieve those strategies and how the Council is performing against those plans. I am hoping that the detail that I am seeking will be available within those documents
