Where we rely on your consent as the lawful basis for processing your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. We will always make it clear what you are consenting to, and your consent will be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

Personal data is supplied by you when you register for your Advantage Card.

What information is collected from you

The personal details we collect are name, address, contact details and date of birth. 

How we use the information you have provided

We use this information to provide you with an Advantage membership via the Library App.

Who has access to the information about you

Library staff.

Who we may share your information with

We don’t share your information with anyone else. If you sign up for the e-newsletter your information is held by the Royal Borough’s Economic Development Team. 

How long we store your information

We keep your information as long as you are a member of the Royal Borough Library Service.

We ask you to renew your membership every two years so we can keep information up to date.
