Please read through the steps below before applying for storing materials on the highway, section 171.
Applications in all cases should be submitted at least 10 working days before the licence is required.
Ensure to keep the deposit under five metres long and two metres wide; minimum 15 metres between deposits.

If the conditions are not adhered to, this will result in a £260 fine for each contravention.

It is an offence to store materials on the highway without obtaining a licence from the Council. Unauthorised storing of materials on the highway carries a fine of £650.
