Residential mobile home licensing

Only a person with a legal interest in the land can be the licence holder of a site. If you intend to sell your site or transfer ownership of the site to another person, you must apply to transfer the site licence to the new owner. 

We advise that you discuss the transfer application with us before you agree to transfer ownership of the site, as we can refuse to transfer the licence to the new owner if we aren't satisfied, they meet important criteria. 

The transfer application must be made in writing by the existing licence holder. 

Fees for transferring a licence

Number of caravans:

• 2 to 5 : £614.79
• 6 to 24 : £640.52
• 25 to 99 : £704.85
• 100 or more : £807.77
