Enforcement Monitoring and performance

  1. To ensure we operate in a transparent way and are accountable to elected officials, we will provide quarterly updates to planning committee on performance of the Planning Enforcement Team, including how many cases are submitted, how many cases are closed, number of cases subject to formal action and type and site visit targets.
  2. When a case is closed, its contents are publicly available through the Freedom of Information Act/Environmental Information Regulations. Sensitive information, such as people’s names, contact details and private photographs would be redacted. We will not disclose the names of people who have reported a breach to us. However, should they be party to legal proceedings then their name may become available.
