Feathers Lane Parking

Presented by: Sylvia Marco

Submitted: Tuesday 2 June 2026

Lead Officer: Tim Golabek - Service Lead - Transport, Highways and Parking / Neil Walter - Parking and Enforcement Manager

Petition: We the undersigned petition the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to to introduce double yellow line parking restrictions on both sides of Feathers Lane, from Sarsby Drive to the junction with the B376.

The proposed restrictions are requested to stop scrap vehicles and airport parking heavy goods vehicles from parking continuously along Feathers Lane. This currently causes large vehicles to mount the kerb to pass, resulting in damage to drains and paths.

Parked vehicles also create dangerous exit points from Conifers Flats and adjacent houses by blocking visibility. In addition, roads and footpaths are unable to be properly cleaned due to persistent parking by vehicles that do not belong to local residents.

Update: Officers have reached out to the lead petitioner to advise on next steps.

Further updates will be provided as received.
