Cuttings and ephemera

Maidenhead library

60 red box files contain over 150 folders of cuttings and many clear wallets of ephemeral pamphlets and original documents about the Maidenhead area.

Windsor library

A filing cabinet contains hundreds of cuttings and ephemera about the Windsor area and there is more material in the red pamphlet boxes.

Ascot library

  • Mr. E. Toys' seven volumes of press cuttings are about the local area, people and events, 1923-31.
  • There are also four volumes of press cuttings about the local area, people and events, 1949-1962.

NB: All the Ascot cuttings are indexed in the Sincock Index (1962) which is kept at Ascot Library.
