Adopted local plan

Borough Local Plan 2013 – 2033

The Final Inspector’s Report (ID-34) was received on 26th January 2022 and the Plan was found to be sound with the recommended main modifications. At the Extraordinary Council meeting on Tuesday 8 February 2022, the Council voted to adopt the Plan. The Borough Local Plan (BLP) now forms part of the statutory development plan, which means that it will have full weight in determining planning applications. It also forms the strategic framework for Neighbourhood Plans with more detailed guidance to be provided in the form of Supplementary Planning Documents. The BLP supersedes the saved policies of the 1999 Local Plan and the Maidenhead Town Centre Area Action Plan.
