Alfred Young Nutt (5 May 1847-25 July 1924)

Alfred Young Nutt was an English Architect and designer who was Surveyor to the Dean and Canons of St George’s Chapel Windsor in the late 19th century. He undertook private commissions for the Royal Family and others.

The Windsor and Royal Borough Museum has a collection of his artworks.

The plaque was unveiled 16 April 2005
