Green garden waste subscription

Items accepted through our garden waste subscription.

We will collect:

• All weeds except for Japanese Knotweed.
• Christmas trees (must be cut up and placed inside your garden waste bin during January for collection- trees left next to the bin will not be collected).
• Fallen fruit (in small amounts).
• Flowers.
• Grass cuttings.
• Hedge trimmings.
• Leaves.
• Plants.
• Small branches, no thicker than 2 inches in diameter, and cut into lengths that can be contained within your wheelie bin with the lid closed.
• Twigs .

Please note: Large amounts of soil, mud or dirt cannot be collected. Small remnants attached to roots are expected, but bins containing loose or significant quantities of soil may not be emptied.

Bags for soil, compost and other gardening material, and plant pots, tubs and trays should be placed into your black refuse bin.

To renew, change or cancel your green waste subscription

You will be able to choose the action you want to take from within your subscription.

Please note: - cancelling the service will cease collections at the time of cancellation.

If you are unable to see your subscription once logged in please email customer.service@rbwm.gov.uk with your name, address and email address registered to your account.

After your subscription has been activated you will be assigned a Week one or a Week two collection and a collection day (Monday-Friday).

Please note:

• Green bins are emptied once a fortnight alongside your other bins.
• Bin lids need to be closed for emptying.
• All materials should be loose (no sacks, bags, bin liners or plant pot/trays).
• We can only collect materials inside the bin, so please do not leave any additional sacks.
• Branches over two inches in diameter cannot be put in your bin.

The schedule may be subject to further change due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather.
