Local Nature Reserves
Local natures reserves in and around the borough.
Arthur Jacob nature reserve
The entrance to the reserve is sign posted off Stanwell Road, between Horton and Poyle villages.
Opened in 1996 it has become a haven for wildlife in the local area and was designated as a Local Nature Reserve in 1999.
It was created from a series of derelict sewage sludge lagoons now transformed into important wetland habitats by the management of the Royal Borough and partner organisations.
