Council works on the Highway this week

The following pages list work that is being carried out by the council or its contractors on or around roads in the Borough.

Highway, Transport and Parking works:

  • Cox Green Road (Cox Green) – thermal patching works (Shoppenhangers Road to Wessex Way) – Wednesday 4 to Thursday 5 February 2026 – 2-way lights.
  • High Street (St Mary’s) – block paving repair works – Wednesday 4 February 2026 – road closure.
  • St Lukes Road (Belmont) – carriageway works – Thursday 5 to Friday 6 February 2026.
  • Harrow Close (Furze Platt) – carriageway works – Thursday 5 to Friday 6 February 2026.
  • Wessex Way (Cox Green) – thermal patching works (Highfield Lane to Mercia Road) – Friday 6 to Monday 9 February 2026 – 2-way lights.
