Council works on the Highway this week

The following pages list work that is being carried out by the council or its contractors on or around roads in the Borough.

Maidenhead Rural works

Wards – Bisham and Cookham, Bray, Hurley and Walthams

Parishes – Bisham. Bray, Cookham, Hurley, Shottesbrooke, Waltham St Lawrence, White Waltham

Highway, Transport and Parking works:

  • Thrift Lane (Bray / Cox Green) – Bridleway scheme (works to include cut back of vegetation, widen and resurface the path, remove the old inoperable gate mid-way along the path and introduce bollards at the southern end to prevent unauthorised vehicle access) – Monday 3 to Friday 28 November 2025
  • Beenhams Heath (Hurley and Walthams) – thermal patching works (Mare Lane to Smewins Road) – Monday 17 to Wednesday 19 November 2025 – 2-way lights
  • The Straight Mile (Hurley and Walthams) – thermal patching works (from Darvills Lane to The Street) – Thursday 20 to Friday 21 November 2025 – 2-way lights
  • Long Lane (Bisham and Cookham) – thermal patching works (between PYO fruit fields and entrance to Lower Mount Farm Units) – Friday 21 November 2025 – 2-way lights
  • Drift Road (Bray) – carriageway works – Friday 21 November 2025 – 2-way lights.
