We are committed to helping local people get involved in their local communities to take action for things that matter to them.

Volunteering in the library

Library volunteers are beacons in the communities our local libraries are located within. Volunteers are vital in helping libraries extend the activities on offer.

Community learning and skills service

East Berkshire Community Learning and Skills Service (CLaSS) delivers Community Learning and Skills courses for over-19s in Windsor, Maidenhead, and Slough.

Volunteering at the Museum

Windsor & Royal Borough Museum is located on the ground floor at Windsor Guildhall.

We are currently open on Tuesdays 10am-4pm. We will be open 10-4pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7 January 2025.

Volunteers bring enthusiasm and inspiration to our local history museum and encourage residents and visitors to explore more of what the Royal Borough has to offer.

We are currently looking for volunteers to commit to a minimum of two hours volunteering time a week to support our opening hours.
