Fair access protocol

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is now delivering its school admissions service through Achieving for Children, a community interest company set up in partnership with the Royal Borough of Kingston and the London Borough of Richmond.

The Admissions Team is now operating a call back service only. Priority will be given to calls where the information is not available on the website or in the relevant guides.

Every local authority is required to have a Fair Access Protocol, developed in partnership with local schools.

The purpose of the Fair Access Protocol is to ensure that, outside the normal admissions round, unplaced children, especially the most vulnerable, are found and offered a school place quickly.  This is to ensure that the amount of time any child is out of school is kept to the minimum.  Please see below for the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead's Fair Access Protocol Policy.  This applies to all of our schools, including Academies, and Voluntary Aided, and Free Schools
