Friends in Need Book Group

A new book group will be running monthly at Maidenhead Library by Friends in Need. Friends in Need is a free support group and wellbeing community for people affected by stress, social isolation, depression and anxiety.

Halloween Swap Shop

Friday 28 October 1pm - 3pm. Everyone is welcome to come and find their 'new to you' Halloween costume.

Throughout October you can donate your clean, gently used children's costumes and decorations at the Library. All unclaimed donations will be donated. 

Fraud Prevention Advice

Fraud prevention drop-in sessions at Windsor Library with local PCSO David Bullock advising you how to protect yourself to avoid fraud and scams.

Legal Drop-In Clinics supported by Charles Coleman LLP Solicitors

Drop in to Dedworth Library on the second Thursday of each month between 11am and 1pm for:

  • Free, impartial, professional advice on family and property law
  • Advice on Wills and power of attorney
  • Information about house purchasing
  • Support with legal procedures
  • Signposting for other legal matters

Bring any information that may be relevant and speak to an expert. 
No booking required.

Repair Café at Maidenhead Library

A repair café is a volunteer-run event where repair coaches assist visitors in carrying out repairs together with the idea to extend the use of things and avoid throwing stuff away.

Learn new skills, meet new people and create a habit of repairing and reusing things.

The Pop-Up Poetry group will be meeting in Maidenhead Library during the first week of every month.

The next meeting is on National Poetry Day, Thursday 6 October 2pm - 4pm. The theme for October is the environment.

Knit and Natter provides an opportunity to get together informally with like-minded people, have a good chat and do some knitting at the same time. 

Pick up your needles and yarn and join one of our cheerful Knit and Natter group.
