Dungeons and Dragons

Maidenhead Library

Every Saturday, 1pm - 3.30pm. 

New Dungeons and Dragons role playing game club. 3-6 players per game. Suitable for ages 15+. Email maidenhead.library@rbwm.gov.uk to register your interest. 

Talkin' Tables comes to Maidenhead

Rio Deli Café in Maidenhead Library, every Tuesday from 10.30am - 11.30am.

The prize-winning Talkin' Tables initiative has arrived in Maidenhead. This initiative encourages people to come together around a table for a tea or coffee, in the hope of making new friends and battle to beat loneliness. Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club is supporting this initiative by having a table in Rio Deli Café every Tuesday for an hour. Anyone is welcome to join.

Book Talk - 'Titan of the Thames: The Life of Lord Desborough'

Maidenhead Library, Wednesday 25 September. Doors open at 6:45pm for a 7pm start.

Author Peter Williams will be talking about and selling his book: Titan of the Thames: The Life of Lord Desborough.

Peter will be unravelling the myths behind this local hero; a man who not only achieved as an outstanding sportsman but was also a very public figure, holding office as an MP and as mayor of Maidenhead. William Grenfell (Lord Desborough) also had an interesting personal life which will be explored during the talk, with information about his time when he lived at Taplow Court.

Bhangra evening

Maidenhead Library, Saturday 14 September 5pm - 9pm.

Come and enjoy an evening of Bhangra music. Dance, observe and soak up the rhythms.

Friends in Need Book Group

This book group will be running monthly at Maidenhead Library by Friends in Need. Friends in Need is a free support group and wellbeing community for people affected by stress, social isolation, depression and anxiety.

Maidenhead Community Garden Project 

Maidenhead Library

Enjoy community gardening at Maidenhead Library! We are transforming an external area into a garden space for all to enjoy and learn in. The aim is for it to be a grassroots effort. It will upcycle collected materials donated by the community. Please help us grow this garden. If you or friends have extra seeds or plants, clean compost, plant pots/trays you no longer use, or want to volunteer in the garden, please email us at maidenhead.library@rbwm.gov.uk
