Canvassers

Table of Contents

Every year, the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) employs a number of electoral registration canvassers to make visits to properties in the borough to collect the electoral registration details of householders.

Canvassers are required to assist householders with filling out the forms and returning them to the Elections Office. This information is used to compile the revised register of electors. The most recent revised register is the 2024 Register of Electors which was published on Friday 1 December 2023.

We will be recruiting canvassers to help with the compilation of the 2025 Register of Electors between July and September 2024.
