The Mayor will be supporting two charities during her term of office 2026-2027:

• The Mayor's Benevolent Fund.
• No 22 Counselling.

The Mayor will introduce a new flagship community event in Spring 2027, creating opportunities for celebration, participation and civic engagement. Details will follow soon.

Support the Mayor on the Maidenhead Boundary Walk 2026

On Sunday 4 October 2026, The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, Councillor Siân Martin, together with family and friends will be participating in Maidenhead Boundary Walk in aid of the Mayor’s Benevolent Fund.

The annual event is based on the traditional “beating of the bounds” which saw communities revisit area boundaries to commit to memory before maps were available.

The route covers up to 13.1 miles through some of the Borough’s most picturesque countryside, including the Thames Path, Bray, Cox Green, Pinkneys Green and Cookham. With shorter route options available, every mile walked will help raise funds for a vital local cause.

Funds raised by the Mayor’s team will go to the Mayor’s Benevolent Fund (reg charity number 269134) which provides one-off grants to residents facing hardship across the Royal Borough. As the charity relies entirely on donations your support can make a genuine difference to those most in need in our community.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help change lives and provide much-needed support to local residents. Thank you for your support and generosity for this worthy cause.
