Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and, where applicable, the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, I request the following information for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The period covered is 1 January 2020 to the date of this request.

Part 1: Data centre capacity

A list of all data centre developments in the borough that have become operational in the period.
For each development, the capacity in megawatts (MW) as recorded in planning or related documents. Please state whether each figure is IT load capacity or total grid connection or power capacity.
The total MW of data centre capacity that became operational in the period.
Separately, the same details for data centre developments that have been granted planning permission but are not yet operational.

Part 2: Renewable energy associated with data centres
For each development listed under Part 1, details of any renewable energy generation that was required or proposed in connection with it. This includes energy strategies, planning conditions, Section 106 obligations, and carbon offset payments. For each, please include:

the type of generation (e.g. solar PV, heat pumps, heat network connection)
its capacity in MW or kWp
whether it has been installed

Separately, any information the Council holds about renewable energy generation, or power purchase agreements, built or contracted to supply data centres in the borough.
