Please provide evidence that RBWM has permission to have the speed limit on the stretch of the A308 from Braywick Roundabout to Monkey Island Lane set at 40 mph rather than the 30 mph which (unless it has been officially derestricted) a restricted road such as this should have.

If I am correct this road would have had a 40 mph limit before street lights were added, but when they were added the road would become restricted and to continue with a 40 mph limit RBWM would have to apply to Government for permission.

It seems that permits are obtained via an order under Section 84 of the Road traffic Regulations Act 1984.
