Getting the most out of Neighbourhood Map
The Neighbourhood Map allows you to explore any area or address within the borough and discover the services provided by the council.
To find information for a specific location, simply search for an address.
Once you select it from the dropdown list, the map will place a pin at that location and automatically zoom in to show the address and its surrounding area.
You can access a wide range of information using the 'Layers' menu.
Layers can be turned on or off by selecting or deselecting them, and multiple layers can be viewed at the same time.
When several layers are enabled, they appear stacked in the order they were selected, with the most recently selected layer becoming the active one.
Clicking on any feature within an active layer will open a pop up window displaying detailed information about it.
The available information categories include:
- Refuse and Recycling.
- Council and Democracy.
- Education and Learning.
- Environment and Planning.
- Leisure and Culture.
- Transport and Streets.
A set of built in tools is also provided to help you navigate the map, explore information in more detail, and follow links to relevant webpages.
