Know your neighbourhood

Use Know your neighbourhood to find address-based information about a specified property or use the map-based information to see related council services and features.

Neighbourhood view

Search for an address within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, select the address, and view information relating to that property. 

The information will include:

• the nearest schools and designated school areas.
• the council ward and councillors.
• current planning applications within 500 metres.
• the nearest car parks,
• libraries.
• recycling points and more.

It will also display whether the property is in a conservation or greenbelt area. Many of the features also have useful links. See Neighbourhood view.

Use this interactive mapping service to look up the location of features and facilities across the council by enabling layers. 

Use the search to locate an address.

The available layers include:

• libraries.
• school information.
• councillors and wards.
• car parks.
• recycling points.
• planning applications.
• events, and much more. 

Details about features on the map can be displayed by selecting the marker or area.
