- Considers all non-executive decisions identified in the policy framework with some decisions identified in legislation that can only be made by Council.
- Specific rules and deadlines about submitting questions, proposing motions and submitting petitions on behalf of your residents.
- All 41 elected members attend this meeting which is chaired by the Mayor.
- There are seven scheduled meetings per year, usually held in-person on Tuesdays, with one of these being Annual Council and one being the Budget Council. Meetings usually commence at 7pm, apart from the Budget meeting, which starts at 6pm.
