Cabinet

  • Considers all executive decisions, which are set out in the Council’s published Cabinet Forward Plan.
  • Key decisions that have been taken are published within 48 hours after the meeting, via a Cabinet Decision Sheet.
  • Key decisions made are subject to a call-in to the relevant Overview and Scrutiny Panel. This call-in period lasts until 5pm, 5 working days after the notice of the decision is published.
  • Up to 9 Cabinet Members can be appointed by the Leader of the Council, excluding themselves.
  • There is usually one meeting on the last week of each month, with a private briefing meeting taking place 2 weeks prior to this.
  • The public meeting commences at 6pm and is usually held on a Tuesday.
  • Meetings are currently held in-person at York House, Windsor and can also be attended virtually.
  • Members of the public may register to speak on any agenda item, by contacting Democratic.Services@rbwm.gov.uk no later than midday on the day of the meeting.
