Retail re-occupation rate relief

We will award up to 100% Discretionary rate relief for up to 6 months to businesses that move into retail premises that have been empty for a year or more.

This discretionary relief will operate between Friday 1 April 2016 and Tuesday 31 March 2026.

We will require the following information:

  • Account reference
  • Property address
  • A copy of your lease/tenancy agreement
  • A copy of your business plan
