Exam results for A levels, T levels and other Level 3 qualifications have shown that 75% of local students have scored A* to C grades at A Level. Additionally, 90% of students have achieved a pass rate for technical T level results.
This year’s results continue to build upon a strong positive trend in recent years – a significant improvement on 2024 where 71% of local A level students received A* to C grades.
The council’s leader, Cllr Simon Werner, said: “Well done to our incredible students across the borough who are celebrating today after years of hard work and dedication. These early results show that children and young people in the Royal Borough are given the best possible start to life.
“Well done to all those who received the results they were hoping for. Whatever your next journey holds, we wish you all the best.”

Headteacher of Windsor Girls School, Ben Garner, says “Today’s exam outcomes are testament to the hard work and determination we saw in our sixth form students throughout their programme of study. They are deserving of their success, and the feeling that this brings. I would also like to acknowledge here the support of our parent body, our staff and our governors in making today possible. Our students now progress on to a variety of university courses, apprenticeships and employment opportunities. We wish them all well as they now take this exciting next step”.

Deputy Head of Altwood Church of England School in Maidenhead, Miss Brittain, said: "We are incredibly proud of all our students and the achievements they have secured this year. We recognise the excellent grades attained and are equally pleased to see so many students make exceptional progress. We are delighted to see such high levels of confidence, independence and resilience that will serve them well in the future. These results reflect the dedication of our students, the support of their families and the commitment of our staff."
