People Manager

iTrent is a secure HR and payroll system which allows managers to view and manage a range of information.

People Manager is a secure web based system that RBWM managers, Optalis managers and School Business managers can access. 

We have created some self-help videos listed below and questions and answers to assist you in accessing and approving information on People Manager.

Managers can access their staff’s information in one place and allows you to:

  • View employee's personal information (e.g. name; address; contact details);
  • View and approve overtime, mileage and expense claims;
  • View and record sickness absence information;
  • View and approve flexi leave requests;
  • View, amend and approve an employee’s annual leave;
  • View, amend and approve attendance at learning events.

Managers will be provided with email notifications when:

  • Managers have tasks that require action (e.g. claim for overtime or special leave/annual leave request).
  • Managers will receive DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) renewal notifications.
  • Recruitment managers will receive recruitment related notifications. 

You will need to login to People Manager using the same credentials you use to login to Employee Self Service.
