A - Z Online resources

Library members have access to these resources free of charge. If you are not already a member you can join online and will be given a temporary membership number to use with your PIN. You will be able to use this number to access our online resources.

Overdrive App 

In June 2017, Overdrive launched their new Libby App. Since then, its predecessor the Overdrive App has still been supported. Overdrive have announced that on Monday 1 May 2023 the Overdrive App will be retired. Please switch to the Libby App if you have not done so already.   • Oxford World's Classics - Access to novels, and other writings, from the 18th and 19th centuries, to support your research using comprehensive introductions, explanatory notes, chronologies, and bibliographies available in every book.

  • Borrowbox - Free download of best selling eAudio books to your device. Install the Borrowbox app on any iOS Apple and Google Android devices. 
  • Kanopy - Stream thousands of movies with your library card. Get access to documentaries, world cinema, independent films. Learn something new with The Great Courses.
  • Libby by OverDrive - Free download of eAudio and eBooks to your device. For the best experience, download the Libby app. If you experience any difficulties visit the Libby help or OverDrive help pages. (Not available on any Kindle device except the Amazon Fire).
  • Naxos Music Library - Listen to more than two million songs from classical, jazz, folk, blues and world artists. Also contains a study area for music students.
