Each resident approaching housing services during office hours is given a personal housing plan which sets out needs, next steps for the resident, the council and other partners, with a record of advice and guidance provided. We are currently adapting and widening the offer available to residents in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act. You can find out more by contacting our housing options service.
The housing allocations policy was adopted on 7 December 2018, with all existing completed applications being re-assessed against the new policy and banded accordingly. All applications received on or after 07 December 2018 are assessed and banded according to the new policy 2018-2021.
