- A platform to discuss issues relevant to the Borough’s rural areas and to make recommendations to the appropriate Panel or Forum.
- Membership: Six Councillors, rest of the membership is made up of individuals interested in rural affairs.
- Number of meetings: Two meetings per year.
- Start time: 5.30pm.
- Virtual or in person: In person in the Council Chamber.
- During the summer period, a Rural Site walk is held where Councillors get a hands-on experience of farms and the countryside.
