Garden in Bloom

Garden in Bloom Awards 2026 Celebrating the gardens that brighten our borough.

Garden in Bloom has been a much loved tradition in the Royal Borough since 1992, recognising the wonderful contribution that private gardens make to the look and feel of our neighbourhoods. It’s our way of saying thank you to residents whose hard work, creativity and care help make our streets more colourful, welcoming and full of character.

Whether it’s a front garden bursting with flowers, a beautifully kept balcony, or a small but vibrant space visible from the road or footpath - every eligible garden has the chance to shine.

Who can enter

Any garden within the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead that is visible to passers by from a public road, pavement, or footpath is eligible.  A photograph is strongly encouraged as it shows the garden at its best and supports the judging process.

Please also see our privacy notice for information about how we use nomination details.

Supporting Wildlife Friendly Gardening

We are delighted to be supporting the Wilds volunteer groups across the Royal Borough.

Their Wildlife Gardens Awards encourage residents to put nature at the heart of their outdoor spaces - something that pairs beautifully with Garden in Bloom.

We encourage residents to consider entering both schemes. Find out more at: www.wildlifegardensawards.org.
