Citizenship ceremonies

COVID-19 information

We are currently offering short, individual virtual ceremonies by Zoom to ensure the safety of our staff and the public.

Once you have received your citizenship invitation letter, please email ceremony.bookings@rbwm.gov.uk giving your name and phone number, we then contact you and advise you of the available appointments.

For details of how to apply to become a British Citizen, please contact the Home Office.

Applicants are required to attend a ceremony within three months of the approval being given otherwise they may have to make a new application. During the current COVID-19 pandemic the Home Office have extended the ceremony deadline date to six months after approval.
