Licensing Act 2003
Licensing has the responsibility for dealing with applications for Premises Licences, the licensing the sale and supply of alcohol, the provision of regulated entertainment and the provision of late night refreshment in England and Wales.
Statement of Licensing Act 2003 Policy
We have, as the licensing authority have a duty to publish a licensing policy statement and to keep it under review. The current policy was approved by Full Council in December 2015 . The policy has been changed to take into account the council's other policies and changes in the law such as the Live Music Act 2012.
