I am writing to request the following information as part of a Freedom of Information Request:

Specifically, with regard to the planning system, I would like to request the following information over a two-year period:

1.    The number of planning applications received and decided, split into major, minor, householder and other applications.
2.    The number and percentage of those applications that were refused.
3.    The number and percentage decided within the statutory time limit (or an agreed extension of time).
4.    The number of planning appeals lodged against the Council's decisions, and how many were allowed, dismissed or withdrawn.
5.    The number of formal complaints the Council received about the planning service at each stage of its complaints procedure, and how many were upheld or partly upheld.
