Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information relating to public playgrounds in Windsor and Maidenhead:
1. The most recent condition and safety inspection reports for all council-owned/maintained playgrounds in Windsor and Maidenhead.
2. A list of playgrounds currently flagged as requiring repair, refurbishment, or replacement, including the estimated cost and timescale for each, where held.
3. The amount of Section 106 and/or Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding currently held by the council that is earmarked or eligible for play area/playground provision in Windsor and Maidenhead, including how much remains unallocated as of the most recent financial year.
4. The council’s current capital and/or revenue budget allocated to playground maintenance and replacement for the current financial year and, if available, the next.
5. Details of which body (RBWM directly, a parish council, housing association, or other) is responsible for maintenance of each playground in the Windsor and Maidenhead unparished areas.
If any part of this request would exceed the appropriate cost limit under the Act, please contact me so I can narrow the scope rather than have the request refused outright.
