Please treat this as a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and, to the extent the information is environmental information, the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

It concerns the agreement dated 11 August 1982 between Thames Water Authority and the Council of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead relating to the riverbank between Ham Island and the lock cut at Old Windsor (referred to in HM Land Registry titles for properties on Ham Island). Please provide:

a copy of the agreement, with its plan and any schedule, and any variation of it; any notice received by the Council from the Environment Agency, the National Rivers Authority or Thames Water Authority seeking to determine, terminate or vary the agreement, with the existing records of service and receipt, and any Council response; any surrender, release or other document by which the Council gave up or altered its rights under the agreement; records of any rent or other payment demanded of, or paid by, the Council under the agreement since 1 January 1989, and any claim for arrears; the licence identified at charges register entry 6 of title BK404681, dated 14 October 1986, including any plan, schedule or counterpart, if the Council holds a copy; non-privileged records of Council decisions concerning the continuation or termination of the agreement since 1 January 2020 (legal advice is not requested); and correspondence between the Council and the Environment Agency since 1 January 2025 concerning the administration, variation, surrender or termination of the agreement.
