Request

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 I request the following information. Please treat "communications" as including emails, Teams or other chat messages, text or WhatsApp messages held in connection with council business, and notes of telephone calls or meetings.

1. All communications sent or received by Democratic Services, Legal Services, the Monitoring Officer or the Planning service between 21 July 2026 and the date of this request concerning the membership of the Maidenhead Development Management Committee for its meeting on 9 September 2026, including who would or would not sit, the availability or unavailability of any member, the use of substitutes, and the invitation list for the members' legal briefing on 8 September 2026.

2. Within item 1, any communication from, to, or on behalf of the Leader of the Council or the Leader's office.

3. Any apologies for the 9 September 2026 meeting received from members, with the date each was received, and any record of a member being declared or recorded as unavailable for that meeting, including by whom and when.

4. The information relied on to compile the list of committee members circulated by the case officer on 1 September 2026 in connection with the members' legal briefing.

5. Any record of the review referred to by the Monitoring Officer in her email of 7 September 2026, in which advice given by Democratic Services in January 2025 (that only those who voted on a deferral may vote on the item when it returns to committee) was "reviewed and found to have been incorrect": the date of the review, who carried it out, and any written output.

If any part of this request would exceed the appropriate limit, please treat the items as severable, answer those that can be met within the limit, and advise me under section 16 how the remainder could be refined. Councillors act in a public capacity and their names should not be redacted
