I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information. I am after information relating to the number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued for vehicles parked outside or beyond the markings of a designated parking bay, and the total amount of money received from these fines, in the last four years within your jurisdiction. In particular, are you able to provide me with:

1. The number of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued to vehicles for parking outside or beyond the markings of a designated parking bay, including both on-street parking and council-operated car parks for each of the following years: 2023 2024 2025 2026 (please provide figures up to the latest point available this year).
Where possible, please break these figures down by private/passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle/van.

2. The total amount of money received by the council from PCNs issued to vehicles for parking outside or beyond the markings of a designated parking bay, including both on-street parking and council-operated car parks for each of the following years: 2023 2024 2025 2026 (please provide figures up to the latest point available this year).
Where possible, please break these figures down by private/passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle/van.

If your database works under a Fiscal Year, please provide figures to the corresponding fiscal years. If possible, please provide the data in an Excel document with separate columns for each year.
