Please treat this email as a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I am seeking information concerning the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead’s externally commissioned passenger transport.

Please provide:

1. A current list of all external passenger transport providers, including where held:

- legal/trading name
- company number
- business postcode
- SME/non-SME status
- type of work

Please distinguish mainstream home-to-school, SEND, post-16, taxi/private hire, minibus, coach, adult/social care, community transport, passenger assistant/escort provision, supported bus and demand-responsive transport.

2. A current list of mainstream, SEND and post-16 operators, including number of routes/contracts, references, broad area, vehicle type, start/end dates, contract value and passenger assistant arrangements.

3. The complete current supplier list for any framework, DPS, approved-provider list or equivalent passenger transport procurement arrangement.

4. The Council’s existing current route-level or contract-level passenger transport dataset, including supplier/operator, reference, service description, vehicle type, dates, value, procurement route and status.

5. Current supported/subsidised local bus, DRT and community transport operators.

6. Any provider workforce/fleet information already held, including employees/workers, drivers, passenger assistants and fleet size.

7. Any current approved subcontracting arrangements.

8. Any provider which since 1 January 2024 has ceased providing Council passenger transport, entered insolvency/administration, had contracts terminated/suspended or been removed from an approved supplier arrangement.

I am not requesting personal information relating to individual passengers or staff.

Please provide existing datasets in Excel or CSV format wherever possible.

If fulfilling the whole request would exceed the appropriate cost limit, please contact me before refusing it.

Further Clarification

For clarity, I am asking the Council to continue considering the following elements:

- supported or subsidised local bus services;
- demand-responsive transport;
- community transport;
- adult/social care passenger transport;
- externally commissioned taxi/private hire, minibus or coach transport outside Children’s Services;
- relevant passenger transport frameworks, DPS or approved-provider arrangements;
- current contracts and suppliers;
- provider workforce/fleet information where already held;
- approved subcontracting arrangements; and
- relevant provider changes since 1 January 2024.

I would therefore be grateful if you could confirm whether the Council holds information falling within any of those categories and continue processing those parts of my original FOI request accordingly.

If the Council holds none of the remaining information requested, please confirm that clearly.
