I’d like to make a Freedom of Information request regarding long-term empty residential properties within the borough.
Could you please provide:
- The number of residential properties currently recorded as empty for 6 months or longer.
- The addresses of properties that have been empty for 2 years or more, and how long they have been empty where this information is available.
- If full addresses cannot be provided, could you please provide the street name and postcode/partial postcode instead.
- The number of properties currently subject to the Empty Homes Premium.
- Details of any long-term empty residential properties the council is currently considering selling or disposing of.
Also, if the council cannot disclose an empty property owner’s details, is there a process where you can pass the details of an interested buyer on to the owner?
