I am writing to formally request information under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR) regarding planning application reference 26/00163/VAR.
Please provide copies of the following information currently held by the Planning and Highway Departments:
1. All Internal and External Correspondence: Complete copies of all emails, letters, meeting minutes, and telephone logs between RBWM Planning Officers, RBWM Highway Officers, Savills (the agent), and the prospective purchaser/buyer regarding this application from January 2026 to the present date].
2. Unredacted Extensions of Time (EOT) Logs: Unredacted copies of all correspondence and internal portal entries setting out the specific corporate, technical, and professional justifications for the continuous Extensions of Time granted beyond the original statutory determination deadlines.
3. Highway Assessment Correspondence: All internal records, technical notes, and emails between the Planning Case Officer and the Highway Authority that led directly to the two-sentence "no objection" comment uploaded to the public portal.
I note that under RBWM's EIR and Freedom of Information policies, the council maintains a pro-disclosure position. While I accept the redaction of strictly personal data (such as private mobile phone numbers or personal email addresses) under GDPR, professional planning negotiations, highway impact calculations, corporate strategies, and un-minuted discussions between public officials and commercial developers do not constitute personal data.
There is an overwhelming public interest in the transparency of this called-in application, particularly given that the Highway Authority has summarily dismissed over 90+ material highway objections and ignored active historical access constraints (such as the 2007 Bridge Road engineering loop) in a two-sentence public response.
