We are making this request under the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
This request relates directly to the recently confirmed Tree Preservation Order, reference 002/2026 as it refers to land at Sunninghill Cottage.
Specifically, we are requesting copies of all information and communications held by the Council concerning the reasons and decisions that led to the temporary TPO dated 27th January 2026. In addition we request all information concerning the evaluation of, and decisions made regarding the formal objections submitted to the tree team […] arborologist at GHA Trees, and […] of Ascot Design via email (to trees@rbwm.gov.uk) and posted to the Tree Team at the Local Authority’s published address on 20th February 2026.
Please provide copies of the following recorded information:
1 Internal assessments: any officer reports, emails, internal memos, assessment sheets, or technical evaluations (including Arboricultural assessments) that directly review or evaluate the specific points raised […].
2.. Communications log: all internal and external correspondence including emails, meeting minutes, telephone logs, and letters – between Council planning officers, Tree officers, legal teams, elected members, or third-party consultants discussing […] or the decision-making process for this TPO.
3. Delegated or committee decisions: the formal decision notice, delegated officer report, or minutes of the planning committee meeting where the decision was taken to make or confirm this TPO, showing […] objections were balanced against the decision.
