I am [...] gathering information on women who have experienced sexual violence, exploitation or abuse outside of the statutory definition of 'domestic abuse' and who have approached a local housing authority for assistance under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. As part of my research, I would like to request the following data from you, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Over the past 12 months:
1. How many women were owed a prevention or relief duty due to sexual violence, sexual abuse or sexual exploitation outside of the statutory definition of ‘domestic abuse’?
2. How many women who approached the local authority as homeless or at risk of homelessness due to sexual violence, sexual abuse or sexual exploitation outside of the statutory definition of ‘domestic abuse’ were not owed a prevention or relief duty?
3. For those in Question 1, whose prevention or relief duty ended with accommodation secured, please list the types of accommodation secured and the numbers in each type.
4. How many women were owed a main duty due to sexual violence, sexual abuse or sexual exploitation outside of the statutory definition of ‘domestic abuse’?
5. For those in Question 4 whose main duty ended with accommodation secured, please list the types of accommodation secured and the number of applicants in each type.
If you do not record 'other violence or harassment' in further detail (i,e. if this is sexually motivated) please state that this is the case, and provide me with all the above information using the category of 'other violence and harassment'.
