I write to make a formal request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 in relation to two matters concerning Liddell Way, Ascot, SL5 9**.
Information requested
1.    In relation to the water mains renewal and meter installation works carried out on the footpath outside [...] Liddell Way within the past 24 months:
a. A copy of the Section 50 licence or highway works permit issued to the water company (or statutory undertaker) authorising these works;
b. Any arboricultural assessment, Tree Protection Plan, or Method Statement submitted to or required by the Council in connection with these works;
c. Any correspondence (including emails, letters, or meeting notes) between the Council's Tree Team, Highway Licence Team, and the water company regarding the protection of the Scots pine tree during these works;
d. Confirmation of whether a notice under Section 211 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (notification of proposed works to a tree in a conservation area) or any Tree Preservation Order consideration was triggered.
2.    In relation to the approved dropped kerb application at [..] Liddell Way:
a. The application reference number and date of approval;
b. A copy of the approval letter or licence issued;
c. Any arboricultural assessment or report conducted as part of that application;
d. Confirmation of whether the tree in question was classified as adopted highway property or private property, and the basis for that determination.

•    Identify the specific exemption relied upon;
•    Explain the public interest balancing test applied; and
•    Confirm whether the information can be provided in redacted form.
